Becca holds a B.S. in Neuroscience and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Arizona. Prior to New Roots Institute, she supported international animal cruelty investigations which led to legislative and corporate policy change. Her passion for education led her to the tech education space, where she worked as a manager, educator, career coach, and led partnerships with federal agencies. She is now committed to advocating for animals by supporting students to drive change in their communities, in addition to advancing animal welfare policies in Washington, D.C. In her free time, Becca writes, composes, and produces electro-pop music, working with multiple Grammy award-winning artists. She also enjoys rollerblading, running, hiking, and listening to podcasts about neuroscience.
