Carrie spent nine years working as an academic librarian before shifting their focus to nonprofits in 2020. They have a Master of Library and Information Science from Drexel University, and their research background is in using empathetic user experience design methods to create safer spaces for people to learn & connect. They're a queer, feminist & human rights activist who is passionate about food justice. Outside of work, Carrie loves hiking, taking photos, and writing poetry.
