Ellie earned a B.A. in History with a minor in Management and Leadership from Boston College . Studying history allowed her to explore system transformation and the power of advocacy, which she aspires to apply to the cause of sustainable food systems. Prior to joining New Roots, Ellie worked in higher education supporting equity and inclusion programming, and received a certification in Restorative Justice. Outside of work, she enjoys art, reading historical fiction, and spending time with her cats. Ellie is beyond thrilled to bring her lifelong passion for anti-factory farming to New Roots Institute.
