In 2022, Ellie graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in History and a minor in Management and Leadership. Studying history allowed her to further explore system transformation and the power of advocacy, which she aspires to apply to the cause of sustainable food systems and veganism. Until joining New Roots in July 2024, Ellie worked in higher education supporting equity and inclusion programming, and received a certification in Restorative Justice. Outside of work, she enjoys art, reading historical fiction, hiking, and spending time with her cats. Ellie is beyond thrilled to bring her lifelong passion for anti-factory farming to New Roots Institute.
