Jessica joined New Roots as a fellow in summer 2023 and has been involved ever since. She is a senior at Cornell University studying Biology and Public Policy, and she started and leads Cornell’s animal rights club. Through her work with her student organization and New Roots, she has successfully encouraged Cornell to drop the up charge on plant-based milk, coordinated a plant-based festival on campus, organized advocacy workshops, and worked expanding plant-based options at Cornell. Outside of her animal advocacy work, Jessica enjoys training for triathlons, traveling, exploring nature, watching movies, and spending time with animals, family, and friends.
