Sean earned his MS and PhD in Experimental Psychology from Washington State University with focuses in quantitative methods and positive psychology. After nearly a decade working in academia as a statistician and social scientist, he came to New Roots Institute to help facilitate the transition of our food systems away from animal exploitation. He is passionate about using rigorous scientific and data analytic approaches to improve animal, human, and societal well-being. In his spare time, he enjoys playing drums, over-the-board chess, watching movies, and volunteering for local pro-animal initiatives.
